FAQ
Which areas does Moment service?
Moment provides mobile osteopathy across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, Lower North Shore and Sydney CBD — including Randwick, Bondi, Paddington, Woollahra, Balmain, Leichhardt, Mosman and surrounding areas. Contact us to confirm availability in your suburb.
How does a mobile osteopathy appointment work?
Marcus comes to you. Simply book online or by phone, and Marcus will arrive at your home or preferred location at the scheduled time with everything needed for a full osteopathic consultation and treatment. No clinic, no waiting room.
What should I have ready for my appointment?
Just a clear space for Marcus to set up his portable treatment table and move around it comfortably. Good ventilation in the room is appreciated. Marcus takes care of everything else — just let him know in advance if there are any access requirements.
Is mobile osteopathy the same quality as a clinic visit?
Yes. Marcus brings 15 years of clinical experience and all the tools necessary for a full osteopathic assessment and treatment. Many clients find they respond better to treatment in a familiar, relaxed environment.
Do you treat children and teenagers?
Yes. Marcus treats clients from age 13 and above. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian is required to be present during the appointment.
Can I claim my appointment on private health insurance?
Yes. Osteopathy is a recognised allied health profession in Australia. Most private health funds that include extras cover will provide a rebate for osteopathic treatment. Marcus is a registered osteopath with AHPRA. Check with your fund for your specific rebate amount.
Do you offer repeat bookings or a regular schedule?
Yes. Many of Marcus's clietns book on a regular cycle — weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on their needs. Ongoing scheduling can be arranged directly with Marcus to secure your preferred time. Prevention is always better than waiting for pain to arrive — regular maintenance treatment keeps your body moving well and helps avoid the need for more intensive care down the track.
What is the difference between the standard rate and the household booking rate?
The household rate applies when a second person at the same address books an appointment in the same visit. It reflects the efficiency of treating two people at one location and is available for both new and existing clients.
